A Building Energy Rating [BER] Certificate is a legal requirement for all homes offered for sale or rent.  

The BER certificate provides buyers and tenants with an indicator of the energy efficiency of a property;  
which could be the deciding factor for potential buyers or renters. If you are selling or renting your property all advertisements for the property must show the property’s Building Energy Rating.
